Mark Watney

Joined him and a small group of others to investigate what murdered Karen in Nov. and where it came from. She'd heard of Mark before because he does a lot of the farm coordination, but since she arrived late during all of that she didn't have much experience or interaction with him. He seems capable though and determined to keep everyone informed and on the same page, so she appreciates his ability to organize -- like with the town hall cleaning. She'd certainly like to interact with him more without it being a situation involving murder.

Helen Magnus

Joined her and a small group of others to investigate what murdered Karen in Nov. and where it came from. Helen proved to be a good leader for the group and kept them focused. She was also a good addition to the team and kept her cool during the fight in the snow.

Stella Gibson

Not the best first meeting since they had their first conversation investigating the murder scene of Karen in Nov.. Wasn't a long conversation, so Riza doesn't know what to really think of her other than she's obviously smart and has concerns for the people here and their safety.

Ravi Chakrabarti

Ravi is a little odd, but he has a good heart and is pretty helpful. Riza first met him when she found one of the dead animals in the woods in Nov.

and he helped her dispose of the corpse. Since then she's enjoyed spending time with him: a few drinks at New Years, sharing a meal at Thanksgiving. She even purposefully sought him out to help her when she was suffering from the worst of her hallucinations -- Ravi was kind to her then and she's not likely to forget it. She trusts him, a lot.

Peggy Carter

A woman much like herself -- soldier, marksman, and badass. Also dealing with a pretty rotten love life, so Riza relates to her on several levels. Riza first met her in Oct. over an unfortunate box delivery. They've worked together or at least discussed pigeon training. Riza feels close to her, as close as she can feel to others anyway.

Jess Brightwell

Jess is one of her fellow inn residents. She had a nice heart-to-heart with him back in Oct. where he helped her explore her first box delivery. Jess reminds her a lot of the Elric boys and she would go to him with help even if he is a teenager.

Matt Murdock

First met Sept 22 when he first arrived. She helped guide him towards the inn, though she hasn't helped him much sense. He does remind her of a certain blind lawyer from her time in Manhattan though.

Jo Harvelle

First met Sept 19 during the girl's bath. Riza hasn't spoken much one on one since then, but she knows Jo has had similar experiences. She trusts Jo and has more respect for her after their hunting trip.

Kate Kelly

Most likely met when Riza decided to live in the inn, but didn't have an official thread until Sept 11. Riza offered to help clean up the inn after the earthquake damage and had Miss Kate help by telling her where to move furniture. Riza has observed that Kate has a pretty high position in the community's hierarchy since she pretty much runs the center of town and keeps the food supply as a communal function. Riza admires her ability to keep everyone together and working relatively peacefully -- since even she knows that the peace her could be tenuous at best. Riza hopes to befriend the young woman over time.

Raleigh Becket

Met Sept 06 during one of the first major earthquakes. He approached her with comforting words and reassurance which Riza appreciated. She finds him to be very supportive and uplifting -- definitely a positive person that would be nice to hang around when she's not feeling so great. She definitely would like to have some of his optimism. She's happy she got to share a dance with him at New Year.

Finnick Odair

Met Sept 02 when he arrived from the fountain. Riza could tell right away that he was used to conflict and approached him with caution. They had an interesting exchange wherein Riza had to convince him this wasn't Panem or the Hunger Games, although after some observation she isn't so sure that some elements of those games aren't at play here. She can't explain why, but she strangely trusts him despite his apparent ravings. At least he's been up front about those supposed murder games. Riza is curious about his experiences in that and plans to keep an eye on him. Honestly, she'd like to learn a thing or two from him as well as he seems to have several skills to utilize here.

"Cougar" Alvarez

Met Aug. 25 straight out of the fountain. He's quiet and she appreciates that. He has a lot of useful skills. She's learned more about his after an intimate conversation at the fountain. Riza wouldn't mind working with him more, even if she is a little jealous of his new equipment.
